Agentic Data Operations Platform (ADOP): Data engineering into hours
AWS has published the Agentic Data Operations Platform (ADOP), a reference architecture built on Amazon Bedrock designed to automate enterprise data engineering workflows. According to AWS, the framework employs specialized AI agents to orchestrate the entire Bronze-to-Silver-to-Gold medallion pipeline lifecycle. The system aims to accelerate new data source onboarding from weeks to hours by delegating pipeline generation, transformation, and inline data governance checks to coordinated foundation model agents.
